                    <dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">Systems for fleet management and fleet maintenance are very complex. Such systems track large numbers of parameters, with high frequency, on a daily basis, thus generating tremendous quantity of data which cannot be interpreted or understood by a human being. On the other hand, an inevitable part of daily operations of these systems is the possibility of unintentional human error, as well as serious irregularities, such as embezzlement, fraud or theft. Large quantities of data make these irregularities hard to detect and prevent. This makes the use of computer data analytics inevitable, including techniques of data mining and statistical analysis. After adequate data processing, resulting data sets are easy-to-read, and eventual irregularities become clearly visible, regardless of the size or structure of motor vehicle fleet.</dim:field>
