                    <dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">A method for designing multilevel sequence, based on chirp and FH waveforms is presented. The main feature of the synthesised transmitter-receiver pair of sequences is the very sidelobe level. The receiver sequences are considered as mismatched compression filter coefficients. The DIRLS algorithm is applied to the iterative optimisation of the receiver mismatched coefficients, as well as to the multilevel transmitter sequence.</dim:field>
