Dugalić Risk management is a strategy that has so far been implemented only in financial organizations. Contemporary market conditions that have particularly affected open corporations call for transparent trading, as a prerequisite for the efforts to manage more efficiently any kind of resource, and therefore sport organizations as well. As these organizations increasingly carry out business dealings according to trading market principles, they begin to expose themselves to numerous risks in many ways, and therefore there is also a growth of the necessity to create competent sports managers within the sport business, who would, if possible, create, implement and evaluate compatible management strategies for all the occurring risks.
