                    <dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">he tourism industry has widely adopted Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in order to improve service quality, visibility and tourists&amp;apos; experience. The paper demonstrates that GIS is becoming increasingly critical for both the tourism demand and supply. The convergence between the services of Web 3.0 generation, along with the social networking sites, mobile applications, and GIS that operate in Cloud Computing business environment has set a new trend in the IT field. However, the growth of spatial data availability has provided a strong stimulus to the development and usage of georeferenced web applications in tourism. The use case model for B2B2C Destination Management System with interactive tourist maps is represented.</dim:field>
