The country's attitude toward the quality of knowledge that its population acquires is the criterion that makes a broad distinction between the affluent and those who are not. The modernization of education is the process now present in many countries, based on continuous, high-quality and contemporary education of the population, responding to their learning needs throughout life and equal education accessibility for all members of society. This model of education is necessary to be applied in Serbia. It can be implemented through the implementation of MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses), which have proven their value by their presence at the most prestigious universities in the world, and in countries far more developed than ours.
