<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">In this paper, I put forward the premise that modern methodological pluralism
is a principle that dictates openness to the variety of scientific paradigms, for their possible
application in the diverse research perspectives in a certain scientific field (the potential
application of epistemological assumptions and methods of other scientific disciplines in
addition to the defined one), since the use (when it is necessary) of supplementary theories
that widens the reach of the basic theoretical grounding - where the binding and intersecting
of theoretical models supplements and completes the research results. The justification of the
application of methodological pluralism and the necessity for multidisciplinarity in modern
scientific research is in this work evaluated in the studies of intelligence, more precisely, with
an aim to conform the need for a multidisciplinary perspective and diverse methodological
instruments in theory and in the practice of intelligence analysis.</dim:field>
