Milojković Nowadays, when consequences of global warming are manifested in the form of various and increasingly frequent natural disasters, both at global and national level, it is increasingly clear that sustainable development is becoming imperative for survival and development of society and economy. The starting point for achieving sustainable development is harmonizing the economic activity of society and the economy with the ecological dimension of society. Green finance, which encourages and supports green projects that include procurement of energy-efficient equipment, and production of clean energy, plays a very important role in the overall sustainable development.
