                    <dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">Since there is a widespread use of technology in everyday life, especially when it comes to young learners, the inclusion of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) has become a necessity. There appears to be a huge discrepancy between the learners’ attention span and the traditional process of teaching. Due to a wide variety of ICT tools, it has been a real challenge for teachers to choose the best ones for motivating students to engage in the learning process. One of the best students’ responses is given at the implementation of Kahoot, a free digital game-based tool, in the process of acquiring new knowledge. Playing Kahoot affects the classroom dynamics and boosts students’ motivation and willingness to participate. Furthermore, it has been proven to be especially efficient in the virtual settings since online studying is gradually replacing conventional classrooms due to the COVID-19 pandemic.</dim:field>
