Milojković The internationalization of clusters is the bottom up process based on the initiation and strategic development of cooperation between reginal partners from the international innovation regions, with special emphasis to the involvement of micro, small and medium enterprises (hereinafter MSME) and research and development institutions. By strengthening international networking, the potentials for innovation will increase. Sharing own capacities with others and extend them with international knowledge will benefit continuing competitive and innovative in future. The key impact of the internationalization of clusters and networks is the improvement of competitiveness of enterprises and contribution of the creation of enable business environment for promotion of the global challenges solutions. Clusters and networks are instruments for building bridges to complementary cluster actors in the international innovation regions and making synergies in the development of partnerships between public sector, academia and business community. Cross-industries and technologies cooperation, as one of leading synergetic cluster development and networking effects, will result with new advanced technologies, products and concepts. The mapped cluster actors, developing the sustainable international cooperation and implementing joint research-based projects to realize innovative jumps, will become more innovative and internationally competitive.
