Popesku The aim of this paper is to deepen our understanding of the relationships between industrial heritage and tourism, to illustrate in which way heritage drives touristic sustainable development, and to describe some of the problems that may arise, as well as to provide recommendations as to how the problems could be resolved. Also, the special aim is to provide a better understanding of the operations and needs in the field of using industrial heritage along the river coast in tourism.
