                    <dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">Pedagogues have a complex role in the changes that, in uncertain reality, are
the only certainty. Creativity, innovation, entrepreneurial activities, the ability to
respond to the rapid spread of knowledge, the balance between individual, local,
national and global, between tradition and modernity, between competition and
cooperation, fostering an open mind, providing equal opportunities for all, mediating
love for learning, curiosity, recognition of mistakes, promotion of understanding and
tolerance, openness to another and different... the list of qualitative qualities of those
who teach and teaching the lesson seems endless, and the person who needs to bring
these traits seems to exist only in the imagination. Competencies point to a set of
necessary knowledge, skills, skills, value attitudes that enable to realize complex activities in a complex area of upbringing and equali complex education. In the context
of the key determinants of intercultural education that respects and supports diversity in all areas of human life, intercultural sensitivity, understanding, respect for the
other and the different, ensuring equal opportunities, interaction and dialogue, competences gain a prefix of interculturality that makes them even more complex and
multifaceted. They will work on analyzing the competencies that are important for
the successful realization of intercultural determinants in teaching.</dim:field>
