Andevski The concepts of media competence have different meanings, and the media competence itself most often refers to: understanding media messages and content; ruling the media, ie the skill of handling media devices; effective use of the media in solving school and business tasks (the ability to plan and enjoy free time with the help of the media); creating the media, composing media messages and offers; evaluating of the media, ie the functions of the media system.
