Current antidoping situation in the Central European region: steady state or need for a change 2019 http://ezaposleni.singidunum.ac.rs/rest/sciNaucniRezultati/oai/record/1/7225 N. Dikić Regional Antidoping agencies from former Yugoslavia (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia) plus Hungarian, Slovakian and Austrian NADO (National Antidoping Organization) are gravitating towards Seibersdorf antidoping laboratory. Because of the geopolitical and historical reasons, it is normal they are cooperated from the beginning. All of the them are Code compliant which is crucial from the perspective of work quality. Since it is announced (Nov. 2018) that only 43 world ADO (Antidoping Organization) among 307 have the same status of quality, that is the proof of hard and dedicated work of regional NADOs. Every year this regional NADOs are organizing workshop together with Seibersdof laboratory, which is unique case of collaboration between NADOs and labs. Because of importance of one European voice in many situation, teamwork, exchange of information and reshape of world antidoping community by establishing new ADO (International testing agency - ITA), regional NADOs are considering re-establishing informal organization Central European antidoping organization (CEADO), with general purpose of strengthening the Anti-Doping fight. Original idea is coming from 2005. from the great Austrian lawyer, Karl Heinz Demel. Obviously, in that time need for cooperation was not so strong like today, in spite the founding group was much larger by the presence of Czech Republic, Poland and Romania.
