                    <dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">In this paper, a direct approach of calculating filter function poles based on defined set of finite accuracy of reactances of LC ladder filter without losses is described. Reactances of defined LC ladder filter have finite accuracy. They represent starting data for calculating filter function poles of the same order. The examples of odd order LC ladder filter realizations obtained by the proposed approximation technique are illustrated. Besides, the tables of poles of filter functions generated from the LC ladder filter realizations with defined finite accuracy of rectances are given. The influence of critical reactance finite tolerance of LC ladder prototype low-pass filter on characteristics of return oloss, frequency characteristic in filter pass-band, attenutation in pass-band group delay and insertion loss in vicinity of cutoff frequency of filter stop-band is analysed. The previous research of the authors together with this paper form a unity for correct and efficient synthesis of LC filters with losses by applying symbolic analysis in programme package Mathematica.</dim:field>
