Panić M. Trivun V. Marković of swimming competitions in terms of organization is prescribed by the rules and propositions. The rules and propositions are under the jurisdiction of the “International Swimming Federation” (FINA), which is in charge of national federations. Depending on the competition level, rules and propositions define the time period for the application deadline of the competitor, in this case a swimmer. Organization of competitions at the international level is at the same time the meeting with the international participation of swimmers. At the meeting in Banja Luka every year in May the organizer is swimming club “Olymp”. Sponsor is the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sport of the Republic of Srpska government and the city of Banja Luka. Besides monitors and volunteers, the organization and security of the participants is provided by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Srpska. Announcement for this meeting is made 30 years prior to the actual meeting.
