Alčaković Especially in Europe the concept of “generations" has a long tradition. It tells us that generations are shaped during formative ages by simultaneity, by their social and political environment. After the Baby boomers, the Generations X and Y, our focus currently is on the Generation Z, born after 1990. For this generation, a lot of research has been done in particular from the U.S.A. and Australia. In our symposium, we move on and discuss the question how the Generation Z in Europe looks like. We will look in depth at Generation Z in six European countries: Spain, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Serbia, and Russia. The presentations show, on one side, clear similarities between how Generation Z behave in these countries.
