Cvetković Abstract – A key factor for the success of companies in the modern, dynamic environment, is an effective and efficient support of information technology (IT) business strategy and processes. Despite the great efforts made in recent decades in this field, the problem IT and Business alignment is not resolved. Back twenty years, enterprise architecture (EA) becomes the conceptual and practical tool for the alignment issue. To obtain practical value of EA (ie. be realized), it is necessary to connect its artifacts with the delivery of solutions (which represent the implementation of planned projects). Delivering solutions is carried out through initiatives such as business process management (BPM), that deliver operational improvements and allow for changes in organization agility.
