                    <dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">The paper presents the creation of SQL queries using mathematical functions that provide the distance between the two points in the shortest time and at a high degree of accuracy. The conducted survey found that one of the three most commonly used formulas for the analysis of the site achieved the highest accuracy. Elements of the formula were converted into PHP language and thereby determined which of the analysed formula gave the highest accuracy the distance between two points. Haversin formula, which is simple to use, and also showed satisfactory accuracy, has been translated into a SQL query where the query execution time was tested. In order to get the information about the location quickly, the query was expanded with a request to search for locations located in a predefined radius starting from the given coordinates. The results used to determine the most accurate location gained this way to may be used for the development of modern mobile phones applications.</dim:field>
