<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">The historical path towards gender equality was not a straight line but rather complex due to different methodological and thematic directions, but it evaluated and made a great contribution to the history of women's sports. This corrected decades-long failures to assign women an exact place in the historical record and enable the presentation of a woman's historical point of view. This paper explores the problems encountered in defining the history of women's sport as well as the place of women's sport today, including lack of visibility, lack of funding and lack of women in leadership positions in sports 10th International Scientific Conference 59 organizations. Ways in which these problems can be solved are analyzed, including improving marketing strategies, recognizing and understanding the organizational and managerial dynamics of women in leadership positions, as well as improving the financing of women's sports. The use of theoretical strategies such as intersectionality, which uses the vectors of gender, race, class, and sexuality as a primary theoretical and analytical tool, is considered a good choice for insight into the connection of social life and structural inequality. As a result of all these measures, it is possible for women's sport to gain more visibility, which would condition the improvement of equality in management positions in sports organizations and better representation of women in sports in the future.</dim:field>
