<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">Modeling an automated system for control of transport and production of oil and gas includes tank management, oil transport control and management, some procedures and measurement control and implementation of pump station control. In this paper we will explain a part of this process on one of the few locations station with tank management and batch management. Activities and participants in this process, which are naturally dependent on one another, will be synchronized using the proposed business model. Our approach benefits are parallel modeling and previewing this process with standardized graphical notation BPMN and HMI application. The benefits of modelling by BPMN notation are simplicity, clear visualization and visibility of modelled process. HMI application is a flexible software package developed in the Wonderware System Platform. Our work contributes to new observation and modelling complex business process based on real life scenarios in the oil, gas and petrol industry in accordance with legislative unique metrology.</dim:field>
