                    <dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">In modeling ontologies, they represent reusable building
blocks that many semantic applications can integrate as
existing knowledge modules. The semantically described
information contained in ontologies is used with the help
of adaptation SWRL rules in the process of adapting
electronic teaching content for Moodle LMS. The
application of ontologies in the domain of electronic
education is of particular importance for the subject of this
paper. It is possible to use ontology or a part of it in the
development of new ontological models. For the
implementation of adaptive electronic courses, ontology
should include a specification of concepts and
relationships of student characteristics, adaptation criteria,
and learning objects which is the goal of this paper.</dim:field>
