<dim:field mdschema="dc" element="description" qualifier="abstract">The Semantic Web can be used as a suitable platform for the implementation of the e-learning system because it provides the development of ontologies, semantic annotation (marking, tagging) of learning materials, the integration of semantic technologies into e-learning systems and the delivery of teaching materials in accordance with semantic standards. In this paper, an example of a semantic mapping of the Moodle LMS platforms with the RDR server is given. Also, the paper presents the structure of the mapped database as well as examples of performing semantic queries. D2R server allows the creation and availability of semantic datasets. Creating SPARQL queries, ontologies, and rules depends on how data is mapped and the tables are interconnected through properties.</dim:field>
